5th Ladies Only Match Race 2008
October 30th - November 2nd 2008
For the fifth time the Hamburger Segel-Club is organizing a Woman Match Race in Germany on the beautiful Alster Lake in the middle of Hamburg.
The venue will take place on October 30th - November 2nd 2008, on Thursday 30th
there will be training opportunities for all crews. Races will take place October 31th - November 2nd.

Competitors are coming from all over Europe, three of whom participated in the 2007 World Championship, some are running an Olympic campaign for 2008.

As usual the Hamburger Segel-Club will provide a high level of organization, about 30 people are involved. Some club members will provide private accommodation; young sailors will take care of the boats. An experienced race committee will set up the racing course directly in front of the clubhouse and the International Jury will ensure that the races will be sailed in a fair way.
Spectators are very welcome!
